there’s been some speculation that what taemin said from key’s know-how is a mistranslation–it absolutely isn’t. the korean subtitle on the show says “태민이가 나한테 흑인 꼬마 같대” > “taemin told me i look like a black kid”. 흑인 only ever refers to black as in the person or race.
